Surf and Turf Soccer Festival

June 1 - June 2

The 8th annual Baystars FC Surf and Turf will take place at Woodville Park in Gloucester, VA.

· U12 and younger Saturday, June 1st

· U13 and older Sunday, June 2nd

This event is a great way to wrap up the spring season and kick off the summer!




Gloucester Arts Festival Gala

June 7 @ 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The Gloucester Arts Festival Gala unveils the Heart of the River 2019 Plein Air Art Collection. The show will run for the month of June at Arts on Main. The Heart of the River Collection consists of local scenes that have been painted on location by the invited artists that are part of the 2019 Gloucester Arts Festival.













Master of Arms

June 20 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Fresh from his winning appearance on the new Discovery Channel show “Master of Arms”, which pits craftsmen against each other in a weapon-forging competition, local village blacksmith George Cramer will present his episode followed by an audience discussion.



Concerts on the Green

Free concerts held on the beautiful grassy, Court Green (6509 Main Street). Bring a chair or blanket (no seating provided) and even a picnic! Bring the kids and the grandparents, everyone will enjoy this music.

Arts @ Abingdon Music Concert: KITCHEN DWELLERS

Montana-bred bluegrass outfit Kitchen Dwellers are captivating fans across the country with their high-energy live performances and unique approach to traditional music that fans have dubbed Galaxy Grass.

In recent years the band has begun to tour nationally, hitting notable venues and festivals around the country including The Brooklyn Bowl, The Fox Theatre, Delfest, Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Northwest String Summit, and The Friendly Gathering. 2017 has seen the band release their second studio album, “Ghost in The Bottle”, while continuing to push the boundaries of their genre.



Historic House Party at White Marsh Farm

Hosted by the Fairfield Foundation

Their 2019 annual fundraiser will take place at White Marsh Farm in Gloucester County. Known for its iconic manor house, meticulously maintained grounds, and dramatic landscape, White Marsh is an historic home of the Willis, Burwell, Rootes, and Tabb families and was restored by the Ingles family in the mid-20th century.
